(NEWS CENTER) -- Back in 2011, Maine lawmakers voted to change the minimum residence requirement for someone to get MaineCare coverage to 5 years.

Now, the American Civil Liberties Union of Maine and the group Maine Equal Justice Partners are joining forces to sue Maine's Department of Health and Human Services, saying the new rule is violating one man's civil rights.
