FALMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police in Falmouth say they've arrested a man who they believe is behind a string of burglaries there.

Officers were called to a home on Middle Road Friday evening, and when they arrived they saw a man running out of the back of the home.

He didn't stop when police asked, so they tased him.

Arrested is Calvin Wiggins.

Falmouth police say he had about$2,000 in stolen items and cash.

Police searched the YMCA where he was staying and found more items that they think were stolen from other homes in Falmouth.
