SCARBOROUGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The unemployment rate in Maine has been 7-8% since January 2009.

While our economy continues to struggle and rebuild, what does this mean for future generations? Junior Achievement of Maine is an organization that wants to helpmake our students confident about their economic stability. Volunteer teachers from JA visit classrooms all over the state teaching students as young as kindergarten how they can start thinking about their financial future.
