Troy Brouwer and Wojtek Wolski also scored for the Capitals, who snapped a two-game skid. Braden Holtby made 29 saves.
Bruno Gervais and Brayden Schenn lit the lamp for the Flyers, who have lost three in a row to fall to 2-6-0 on the season. Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 23-of-26 shots.
