(NEWS CENTER) As the budget battle plays out at the State House, Gov. Paul LePage makes national headlines for his blunt comments. Ray Richardson of WLOB Radio and Bill Nemitz of the Portland Press Herald go In The Arena with Pat Callaghan.
They discuss Gov. LePage's use of a sexual metaphor to describe the assistant Democratic leader in the Maine Senate, as well as the governor's refusal to speak to the Press Herald and its sister papers because of what he deems their unfair coverage.
Nemitz and Richardson also talk about the prospects for enacting the budget next week and the likely entry of Rep. Mike Michaud into the race for governor in 2014.
