CONWAY, NH (NEWS CENTER) -- The FBI is now offering a major reward in hopes of generating new leads in the disappearance of a 15-year-old New Hampshire girl who's been missing for nine days.

Abigail Hernandez disappeared from Conway last week, and despite hundreds of tips from the public, police and FBI agents hope the $20,000 reward may help motivate someone to come forward with the information they need to solve this case. The reward is for any information that leads to the safe return of Abigail Hernandez or leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her disappearance.

Investigators also announced Thuesday that they will continue to search and will focus on specific areas where tips lead them. They say they are not necessarily scaling back their efforts however there may be fewer people Involved on a daily basis so they can keep others well rested for investigating specific tips.

Also on Thursday, Abigail Hernandez's mother made another emotional plea for her daughter's safe return. She also wanted to thank the community and investigators for all their efforts.

Investigators have been holding these daily news briefings since last Thursday. They said this evenings will be the last one. They will hold briefings only when there is new information and will not be doing daily briefings at a specific time.
