(KPRC) A Pasadena, Texas minister is living in a dumpster to draw attention to the plight of the homeless.

Langdon Cassidy decided it would be a creative way to bring attention to the homeless problem and to get donations of coats and blankets.

"I had a dream about a year ago that I was in a dumpster and that I was receiving things and wasn't sure what it was and I prayed on it and talked to other people about it," said Cassidy.

He hopes to gather 600 coats and blankets, which he will begin handing out next week.
