PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Maine officials say a woman who serves boiled lobsters and baked desserts from a floating restaurant in Penobscot Bay must shut down.

The Portland Press Herald reports Reilly Harvey's Mainstay Provisions must pass health inspection standards and outfit her 22-foot wooden launch with sinks and running water. Reilly's business needs licensing through the state Division of Environmental Health's inspection program.

Harvey runs the business from Memorial Day to Labor Day. She says she hopes to comply with the regulations. Maine officials who shut Harvey down say they will work to expedite her application if she applies for licensure.

Harvey sells lobsters, clams and all the trappings for a full lobster bake from her craft. She cooks the food on a three-burner stove and serves it on paper plates.
