NORTH HAMPTON, N.H. (NEWS CENTER) -- A plane crashed in North Hampton, N.H. Monday morning, killing the two people inside.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash. The North Hampton Fire Department confirmed that the pilot and passenger both died.
The Cessna 180 plane crashed after taking off around 11 a.m.
A witness said the nose of the plane pitched up, causing the plane to lose airspeed. It rolled over and fell to the ground.
The plane's cockpit was crushed by the impact, and only the plane's tail remained intact.
The FAA said the plane was registered to a man from Kingston, N.H.
