PITTSBURGH (NEWS CENTER) - Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jeff Locke is making the most of his first full Major League season. The team's fifth starter to start the season was selected to his first All-Star game.

The 25-year old has caught the eye of National League managers and players with an 8-1 record and the second-best E.R.A. in all of baseball (2.12).

Since dropping his first outing of the year, Locke has gone unbeaten in his last 16 starts.
