MANCHESTER, N.H. (NEWS CENTER) - The Portland Pirates season-long woes won't require any more bus trips to mull over their losses they lost their final they were shutout in their final road game of the season for their seventh straight loss by 4-0 final against rivals Manchester.

The Pirates were outshot 39-23 and outperformed on the power-play. They couldn't convert any of their four opportunities. The Monarchs scored on three of their seven chances.

Portland (24-38-3-8) has three home games remaining, including their next game Sunday at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee against Norfolk. First drop of the puck is at 4 p.m.
