After a weather postponement, UMaine and Husson went head to head on the softball diamond Thursday afternoon.

ORONO, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- Tuesday's rainy and cold weather did not make for great softball conditions, so game between UMaine and Husson University was rescheduled for this afternoon. The Eagles made the trip to Orono to play in Maine territory.

Maine starting pitcher Kylie Sparks had 5 strike outs through six innings to help the Black Bears to a 6-1 win over the Eagles.

Next up for Maine, a three game stint at Stony Brook beginning Saturday, April 19. Husson takes on Bowdoin in a double header Friday, April 18.
