BOSTON, Massachusetts (NEWS CENTER)--

With the game tied 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth, the Red Sox come back to beat the Orioles 6-5 on Easter Sunday at Fenway Park.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, pinch hitter Mike Carp came to the plate with the chance to put it away for the Sox. He hit a fly ball to left field and it was caught, so Pedroia, who was on third base, went back to tag up and decides not to chance running home. But outfielder David Lough's throw from left was off the mark, so Pedroia stepped on it and made it home for the game winning run.

The Orioles and the Sox will meet again at Fenway tomorrow morning at 11:05 for the series finale.
