PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Win, lose, or in the highly unlikely event of a draw, the Maine Red Claws season will end on Friday night. Even with the playoffs out of reach, the Red Claws have plenty of reasons to close out their year on a high.

Despite the disappointment of missing out on the postseason for the fourth time in the franchise's five-year history,

"Every game counts. You know, it's an audition for these guys to show teams in the NBA, front office personnel and you know teams all over the world what they can do."

"You've got to go out there and play, because you never know who's watching, you know what I mean and you know, those last two games could be the first time that you know someone saw you play."

Maine is at Fort Wayne tonight before wrapping up their season tomorrow at Iowa.
