Low pressure sitting to our NE was responsible for the windy conditions today along with some snow showers. That low will slowly track to the east tomorrow allowing for brighter skies and lighter winds through the day. Another storm passes to our south for the start of the work week and could throw some rain/snow showers our way. Improvements for the second half of the week with our temperatures and cloud cover.

Tonight - Clear to partly cloudy skies. Lingering snow showers in the mountains and far northern Maine. Breezy northwest winds will continue. Lows dip into the 20s.

Maine Maple Sunday - Looks like a beautiful day to visit the sugar shacks! It will still be pretty breezy for the start of the day, but winds should let up a bit more for the afternoon. Brighter skies expected for most places. Partly to mostly cloudy skies for the mountains and far north. We could also see some afternoon snow showers for those locations. High temperatures in the mid to low 40s.

Extended Forecast - A storm passing to our south Monday will bring more clouds into southern Maine with the chance of some rain/snow showers. Any shower activity will be light in nature. The first half of the work week remains unsettled with a good amount of clouds hanging around. High pressure builds in for the second half of the week. Our temperatures warm up into the mid and upper 40s and we get to enjoy a couple sunny days. No major storm systems in our near future.
