It LOOKS beautiful out, but boy is it cold! We started out the day with temps around 0, and the wind chill values were subzero for just about everybody. Our highs today won't be that much of an improvement. As expected today is playing out to be one of the coldest days of the week with highs in the teens and 20s. Clouds will increase tonight and we have some snow showers moving through the area late tonight into early Wednesday. Right behind that snow we have yet again another blast of cold air heading our way. Hoping for more snow? I'm still watching the possibility of a storm Friday. Right now I'm thinking we will see some light to moderate snow during the day.
This Afternoon - Mostly sunny, lighter winds, and chilly temperatures. Highs in the teens and 20s.
Tonight - Increasing clouds, and the chance of snow showers after midnight. Lows mostly in the teens.
Wednesday - We start out the day with clouds and snow showers. Very light accumulation is expected and not everyone will see snow showers. I have posted my predicted snowfall amounts in the "weather extra" graphic section. Most places will see a dusting up to an inch of snow, but there could be some pockets closer to the coast of 2 inches. The snow pushes through midday, and skies clear from west to east during the afternoon.
Extended Forecast - Another cold blast of Arctic air heads our way Thursday. Skies will at least be sunny for most of the day. Clouds will be on the increase late Thursday ahead of the next approaching storm system. As of now it looks like we will see a light to moderate snowfall during the day Friday. The snow lingers into early Saturday morning. Skies clear during the day Saturday. Overall the weekend will be nice and quiet featuring bright skies and highs mostly in the 20s.
