Black ice is an issue this morning, please be cautious walking and driving around. Today, clouds will give way to some afternoon sun with highs in the middle 30s.
An "Alberta Clipper" will race across the Northern US tonight. Light snow will breakout by daybreak Tuesday. Snow intensity will ramp up through the morning. Along the coast, mild air will work in and change snow to rain in the afternoon. Inland, snow will fall heavily and may mix with freezing rain during the afternoon and evening. Precip will taper off late tomorrow night. Amounts will range from 1-3" along the beaches, 3-6" inland to 6-10" in the foothills, mountains and north country.
Behind the storm, expect blustery and cold conditions through the end of the week.
Have a nice day.
