Tonight will be clear and cool with lows in the upper 30s in the mountains, low and mid 40s for the rest of central and southern Maine.
High pressure slides east Wednesday and a warmer wind from the southwest will develop. Highs will be in the mid 60s for most, with mostly sunny skies.
Thursday will be even warmer with highs in the low 70s for many inland towns, upper 60s to around 70 at the coast. It will be a bit breezy with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
A dry cold front will slide through Thursday night dropping temps into the 60s for Friday. Another big warm up is expected this weekend with highs around 70 on Saturday and in the 70s on Sunday. Our next chance for any substantial rain won't arrive until Tuesday of next week.
Have a nice night.
