Local Weather Forecast

NEWS CENTER Video Forecast updated on Wednesday December 7th at 5am

Seasonably cold tonight (20s) with increasing clouds overnight into Wednesday...

A little bit of snow (possibly mixed with rain) will occur Wednesday morning, and may linger a little to the north. We actually miss out on a bigger storm, which moves out to sea before it gets to Maine.

On Thursday, it'll be mostly cloudy. A few flakes may fly late in the day, but no biggie.

As we approach the weekend, a blast of Arctic air will rush in, temps will dive into the 20s by day and single digits and teens at night. That's the coldest air yet for Maine. Friday will be blustery, with gusty winds out of Canada.

We will see sun for Saturday and Sunday, in spite of the frigid air.  And I'm watching Monday for a more significant snow/rain event.
